The Water type is one of the eleven TCG types. It is represented by the color blue, and symbolized by a water droplet.
The Water type contains all Water- and Ice-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Blastoise, Articuno and Piloswine are all Water types in the TCG.
Battle properties
Generally, Water Pokémon have a weakness to:
- Grass (if the Pokémon is a Water-type in the video games)
- Lightning (if the Pokémon is a Water-type in the video games)
- Fighting (if the Pokémon is an Ice-type in the video games)
- Metal (if the Pokémon is an Ice-type in the video games)
These types are generally weak to Water Pokémon:
