This card was included in the {{TCG|EX FireRed & LeafGreen}} expansion, first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Flight of Legends}} expansion, with artwork by [[K. Utsunomiya]]. It was later reprinted in the {{TCG|Supreme Victors}} expansion, previously released in the Japanese {{TCG|Beat of the Frontier}} expansion, with new artwork by [[Wataru Kawahara]].
 
During the XY Series, VS Seeker was released as an {{TCG|Item card}} with an updated effect and new artwork by [[5ban Graphics]] in the English {{TCG|Phantom Forces}} expansion, originating from the Japanese {{TCG|Hyper Metal Chain Deck}}. The Japanese {{TCG|Emerald Break}} expansion included a {{TCG|Secret card|Secret}} print of VS Seeker, which was later printed in the English {{TCG|Roaring Skies}} expansion. The Japanese {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Power Style}} and {{TCG|M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style}}, released August 7, 2015, both included prints of the Hyper Metal Chain Deck print of VS Seeker. A Mirror Reverse Holofoil reprint of this print was later included in the {{TCG|Premium Champion Pack}} in Japan.
 
At the start of the Japanese Sun & Moon Era, the Hyper Metal Chain Deck print was reprinted again in the {{TCG|Premium Trainer Box}}. Despite the layout for Trainer cards being changed for the new Era, this print retains the old card layout. This layout was retained for the reprint in the Japanese XY Era reprint subset, {{TCG|The Best of XY}}.

Release information

This card was included in the EX FireRed & LeafGreen expansion, first released in the Japanese Flight of Legends expansion, with artwork by K. Utsunomiya. It was later reprinted in the Supreme Victors expansion, previously released in the Japanese Beat of the Frontier expansion, with new artwork by Wataru Kawahara.

During the XY Series, VS Seeker was released as an Item card with an updated effect and new artwork by 5ban Graphics in the English Phantom Forces expansion, originating from the Japanese Hyper Metal Chain Deck. The Japanese Emerald Break expansion included a Secret print of VS Seeker, which was later printed in the English Roaring Skies expansion. The Japanese M Master Deck Build Box Power Style and M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style, released August 7, 2015, both included prints of the Hyper Metal Chain Deck print of VS Seeker. A Mirror Reverse Holofoil reprint of this print was later included in the Premium Champion Pack in Japan.
