Pardon

Sorry if the move conversation got too off track. If the staff is discussing it, I've said my own piece there and will stay back for adminship to decide how to proceed.--Darknesslover5000 (talk) 01:59, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Oh you're fine! Please feel free to discuss it more if you want, but either way a decision will likely be made on this at some point soon. Landfish7 02:11, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
Understood, but you did break up a pointless discussion. That user and I were talking in circles, so it'll be best to leave it to you guys! Thanks!--Darknesslover5000 (talk)
Yeah I really don't think minds are gonna change much on this. But thanks for contributing to the discussion regardless! Landfish7 02:39, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Convergent Species Article

So, while I know there is no current official title for the phenomenon, will this wiki ever put up an article for convergent forms? TPC and TPCi don't currently seem to have names in mind, but enough fans are using the terms "Convergent Form" and "Regional Fakes" that I'd think at least one can be used. It's just odd to see the Wiglett line, the Toedscool line, and now Poltchageist, without anything on the wiki to categorise them?--Darknesslover5000 (talk) 04:25, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

We're actually currently working on something here: User:Jacob9594/Ecologically similar Pokémon. Landfish7 04:26, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
That's brilliant! Glad to see you guys are on it! It hit me earlier that there really wasn't a term when I was editing Poltchageist, and I was like "...well we need something". That's a great one. I don't know how much this will help, but it appears the Japanese site uses 生態は似ているが seitai wa nite iruga (ecology is similar) if you wanna add that in.--Darknesslover5000 (talk) 06:20, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
Oh you added it! Thanks! I will look forward to this article's release.--Darknesslover5000 (talk) 05:02, 24 August 2023 (UTC)
It's out now :) Landfish7 05:05, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

Light trio

Hi, I was asked to organize some pages and I need more specific information. Do pages for the Light Trio's Pokémon (Nebby, Lunala, and Necrozma) go to specific pages for those Pokémon as this discussion[[1]] suggests?

I sent the contents of the anime page to the main Light trio page and left it only as subsections. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/w/index.php?title=Light_trio&diff=3787695&oldid=3767354

I am sending this message specifically to you because you were the one who answered it back in 2021 and indicated these pages here, here, and here. I made some small updates to these pages in order to keep them saved in my history, depending on the response, I make the necessary adjustments.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 22:34, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

The info for Nebby can be moved to Nebby#In the anime; the info for Lunala can be moved to User:Playerking95/Lunala (anime); and the info for Necrozma can be moved to User:Playerking95/Necrozma (anime). The two userpages can then be mainspaced, and the main series anime sections for Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma on the Light trio page can be condensed down to maybe about a paragraph, with a main article link added to the top of each section, linking to the new split-off pages. The Light trio (anime) page will need to be maintained as a redirect to Light trio. Afterwards, we can probably see how we can incorporate User:Maverick Nate/Nebby (anime) into the anime section in the Nebby article. Landfish7 03:35, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Type properties

The new format for type properties is great! I'm so happy to know I'll see it every time I'll go on a type page. There's just one thing I'd change. Offensive and defensive properties tables are now separated with a big gap, same as the gap between generations. This could be a little confusing and intimidating to see, for example, to see six seperate tables instead of three sets. What if instead of separating them with <br>, these tables could just use margin-bottom:3px; property?--Rocket Grunt 13:27, 7 October 2023 (UTC)

Good idea. I'll pass it along! Landfish7 18:41, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
Or how about offensive and defensive tables for the same generation in the same horizontal row? → PikaTepig999 21:32, 7 October 2023 (UTC)
The changes that've been made so far pretty much solved my issues with it. Thanks!--Rocket Grunt 16:24, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

Creating templates

Excuse me, are you the wrong person to ask about creating templates on my user subpage?

You're a very respected staff member here, and if you know about templates, I would love to ask you questions to learn from your rich experience! Solemn Mac (talk) 16:31, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
