The Ultra Guardians on their Ride Pokémon

The Ultra Guardians' Ride Pokémon are Pokémon loaned to the Ultra Guardians by Aether Foundation, which they use on their missions to find and capture Ultra Beasts so that they may return home. They first debuted in A Mission of Ultra Urgency!.

History

Garchomp first appeared in A Mission of Ultra Urgency! along with the other Ride Pokémon, when the Ultra Guardians embarked on their first mission. Garchomp is always used by Ash. Garchomp took Ash to Mahalo Trail, where Ash was able to catch Buzzwole and return it home.

Garchomp reappeared in Rise and Shine, Starship!, where Ash rode it to Bamboo Hill in an attempt to return Celesteela home.

Garchomp reappeared in Twirling with a Bang!, where Ash rode it to Melemele Island’s Route 3. Garchomp, along with the other Pokémon helped perform a firework display of their own, distracting Xurkitree and Blacephalon long enough, enabling the Ultra Guardians to catch it.

Personality and characteristics

Garchomp has shown to be very powerful. He also has a quite rivalry nature as seen when he raced with Flygon.

Altaria is shown to enjoy swimming in pools, as evident in I Choose Paradise!, where it ended up dragging Lillie in with it. It is also shown to be very affectionate towards Lillie.
