Trivia

This was an orphaned card for a time when it came to the Modified format due to the only Tentacool card at the time being in the first rotation. It would not be fully playable in the format until Tentacool was reprinted in Legendary Collection.

Origin

Poison Sting is a move in the Pokémon games that Tentacruel can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Yellow, though it is heavily reworded.
