Eh...how does Probopass walk? Does it float like Metagross? By the way, Metagross floats and walks.

Oh! I'm sorry, I forgot my signature on that last message! ~Gardevoir

You can just add the signature to your message without explaining it (or just doing so in the edit summary).
As for your question, we'll probably have to wait for Probopass to appear in the anime to find out. --FabuVinny T-C-S 23:27, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, I guess I hope he is in the anime. I do want to see how he moves. ~Gardevoir

Apparently, from the looks of the pics, he levitates. --Ricco 01:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

What? I just looked through all the pics, he walks on the ground. --Theryguy512 14:19, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
It's just barely off the ground, but it looks like it's floating somewhat. Especially when it's moving with Alan on its back. --Ricco 01:21, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

Toilet/Mario

Why does Probopass's animation look like flushing a toilet and the cry is the like the same sound? Also, it looks like Mario (who was a plumber, no less), down to the mustache, and even red hat and color of body! Zander 12:03, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

That is a theory...OptimatumTalk|12:05 11 Mar 2008
I'll accept that Probopass resembles a Mr. Potato Head. But, Probopass does not resemble Mario anymore than any person with a moustache. Trainer-c 21:00, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Well I showed a picture of Probopass to some people and on who he looks like, they all said Mario, none really came up with Mr. Potato Head. Kilik 11:41, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
I say it's regular form looks more like Mario than its shiny form, for whoever put that. =/ --Ricco 01:19, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
I doubt that Probopass was meant to look like Mario. If it was, the shiny form would've been based of off Luigi by having the "hat" and nose colored green; but it isn't.--Pokencyclopedia 19:39, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, Pokencyclopedia, you could be right. Or mayby nintendo showing us just how much they hate Weegee, er luigi.Glitchym1~♥ 21:53, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Am I the only one that thinks it looks like Groucho Marx? Or at least like the glasses. Vhazhiphor 03:13, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Truthfully, I'm not sure if I believe in this theory or not, but either way, whoever said that shiny Probopass doesn't make any Mario references is completely wrong. Think about it. If normal Probopass looks like Mario, then the shiny version should be Wario. Plus, the shiny version of Probopass is yellow. See what I'm getting at?ShadowCloak789 04:52, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Legs Trivia

is it worth a mention in the trivia that (i think) nosepass has legs but probopass doesn't?? --TiTAn 12:37, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

No, there are other Pokémon that has the same situation as Probopass.--ForceFire 12:38, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
ok thanks --TiTAn 15:03, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Nome origin

Proboscis is already a very good explanation for it's name, but can it also lend some meaning from a MagnaProbe? The Magnaprobe is a magnet used to show the three dimensional nature of magnetic fields, kinda like a 3D compass needle. Or is just a probe way too generic? KurowaSan

Blurry picture

Is that picture in the first infobox kind of blurry, or is it just me? — AxxonntheAwesometrainer 20:57, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

Trivia

I noticed it's HGSS Dex entry states that it can attack with it's three noses, but it can't learn Tri-Attack. Pawsrent 19:02, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Parallel to Magnezone?

Shouldn't it be noted Probopass is like, I don't know, a parallel to Magnezone?

They both are part Steel-type, both evolve from their previous evolution when levelled up at Mt. Coronet, and both of them evolve from a Pokemon of a previous generation.

Thanks, KetchumsKetchup (talk) 17:35, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Not really. The things you listed are just about the only things they have in common - unlike most paired counterparts, they don't have similar movesets, they aren't the same evolutionary stage (Probopass is 2nd while Magnezone is 3rd), and their base stats, catch rates, and various other numerical designations differ wildly. The few similarities they have seem to be entirely coincidental, and probably only exist because they both happen to be based on magnets. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:31, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Ah, OK. I see. Thanks.

Kid's Toy

Probopass always reminded me of this thing. Could be nice if it were to be sort of mentioned in its origin/design ispiration. Scarabola (talk) 18:55, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
