This print has a red border and "Trainer Deck A" or Trainer Deck B" printed on the back. This card was included in the Base Set, first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was reprinted in the Bulbasaur Deck of the Japanese Intro Pack. It was reprinted again in the Base Set 2 expansion. It was reprinted once again in the Chikorita Side Deck of the Japanese Intro Pack Neo. In Japan, it was reprinted in the Pokémon VS expansion and in the unofficial English Tyranitar Half Deck for the 2001 Tropical Mega Battle with new artwork by the same artist. This print was one of the possible cards in the Japanese Pokémon-e Starter Deck and eventually had an official English release in the Expedition Base Set.
