The Expedition Base Set and Theater Limited VS Pack prints include a Dot Code strip for use with the e-Reader, and have the card ID A-27-#. The short strip contains a brief card summary. There is no long strip for this card.

Release information

This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. In Japan, it was reprinted in the Pokémon VS expansion and in the unofficial English Tyranitar Half Deck for the 2001 Tropical Mega Battle with new artwork by the same artist, which eventually appeared in Expedition Base Set. It was reprinted in EX Ruby & Sapphire with new artwork by Hiromichi Sugiyama and subsequently reprinted in EX FireRed & LeafGreen, EX Delta Species, EX Dragon Frontiers and many Japanese half decks. It was reprinted with new art again in Diamond & Pearl, Secret Wonders and Stormfront, this time by Ryo Ueda.
