Spearow (Japanese: オニスズメ Onisuzume, German: Habitak, French: Piafabec) is a Normal/Flying-type Pokémon.

=Pokédex entries

Pokémon Emerald
Its loud cry can be heard over half a mile away. If its high, keening cry is heard echoing all around, it is a sign that they are warning each other of danger.
Pokémon LeafGreen
Eats bugs in grassy areas. It has to flap its short wings rapidly to stay airborne.

Name origin

Spearow's name may be a combination of the words spear and sparrow. Its Japanese name can be taken to mean 鬼雀, demon sparrow.

It has been suggested that Spearow resembles a falcon of some sort rather than a sparrow.
