Skiploom (Japanese: ポポッコ Popocco; German: Hubelupf; French: Floravol) is a Grass/Flying-type Pokémon.
Pokédex entries
- Pokémon Emerald
- It blossoms when the temperature rises above 64 degrees F. Because its flower's blooming changes with the temperature, it is sometimes used as a thermometer.
Name origin
Skiploom's name is a combination of skip and bloom. It could also be a play on a song containing the verse, "loo, loo, skip to my loo", with an "m" added to the end of "loo", implying "bloom", reffering to the flower on top of Skiploom's head. Its Japanese name is based on 蒲公英 tanpopo, dandelion.
Skiploom appears to be based on a bulb and a flower.
