Psybeam (Japanese: サイケこうせん Psyche-beam) is a Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I that deals a small amount of damage.

Effect

Generation I

Psybeam does damage and has a 9.8% chance of confusing the opponent.

Psybeam can't confuse an opponent that is already confused.

In Stadium, Psybeam can't confuse an opponent that has a Substitute.

Kadabra. Kadabra's eyes glow red. Rainbow colored cirlces are relased and shot towards the foe.

Venonat. A multicolored beam is created from Venonat's eyes.

Espeon. It red gem on its head creates a multicolored beam.

Girafarig. A multicolored beam is created between its horns.

Combee. A multicolored beam is created from Combee's three faces' eyes.

Mothim. A multicolored beam is created from Mothim's eyes.
