Poli (Japanese: ) was the first Pokémon Red has gotten in Pokémon Special.
History
Poli was the first Pokémon Red has ever gotten. Later on in Buzz Off, Electabuzz!, remembering how his little Poliwag evolved to save him when he was drowning, a Poliwrath emerges from the water with Red in its arms, after touching a Water Stone, speculated to be the four stones at the bottom of Vermilion Harbor. At the Pokémon League, along with Pika and Venusaur, it was able to defeat Green's Charizard.
