Officer Jenny's Gumshoos (Japanese: ジュンサーのデカグース Junsar's Dekagūsu) is a Pokémon owned by an Officer Jenny in the Alola region.
History
Gumshoos first appeared in Verdant Cavern in SM009, where Ash battled against it in his first Island Trial. Gumshoos begins the battle by attacking Pikachu, enduring a powerful Thunderbolt while assulting Pikachu with multiple Frustration attacks. Ash then tries to have Rowlet support Pikachu and it is quickly defeated by Gumshoos's Rock Tomb. After using Sand Attack against Pikachu, Ash has Pikachu use it as cover while attacking with Quick Attack. Pikachu then finishes the battle with a Thunderbolt. Gumshoos then awards Ash the Normalium Z. Gumshoos later helps scare away the Alolan Rattata and Raticate in a store. Officer Jenny later asked it to join her, seeing as she's always wanted a partner, and Gumshoos agreed.
It reappeared again in SM010.
Personality and characteristics
Gumshoos is a very powerful battler, using its speed and raw strength to overwhelm opponents. Gumshoos is also a kind Pokémon, helping to scare away the Alolan Rattata and Raticate.
