The Metal type is one of nine TCG elemental types. It is represented by the color silver.
The Metal type contains all Template:Type2 Pokémon found in the handheld games. For example, Steelix and Scizor both appear as Metal types in the TCG.
Like the Darkness-type, it has its own Special Energy. However, instead of increasing damage done by 10, it decreases damage taken by 10.
