Kimmy Shoney (Japanese: ショウギ・ケイマ Keima Shōgi) is a character of the day who appeared in Showdown at Linoone. He lives on Giban Island with his parents, Korban and Harmony Shoney.
Kimmy was upset when he met Ash and his friends. His Linoone, Tokin, had been stealing round objects for no obvious reason, including Poké Balls that contained two of May's Pokémon.
Kimmy couldn't figure out what was going on with his Pokémon until Team Rocket tried to steal Pikachu, and Linoone chased after the balloon. Kimmy remembered how he and Tokin used to play catch before it evolved, and that it was just trying to have some fun.
