Kakuna (Japanese: コクーン Cocoon, German: Kokuna, French: Coconfort) is a Bug/Poison-type Pokémon.

Name origin
Its name is just a corruption of the word cocoon, and in the case of its Japanese name, it is the word itself.
Its design appears to be based upon a chrysalis.
"Kokoon" was the proto-type name for Kakuna.
