The Item Printer (Japanese:どうぐプリンター Item Printer) is a mechanic introduced in the The Indigo Disk expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, unlocked after spending 200 BP at the League Club Room. It is similar to the Cram-o-matic from Pokémon Sword and Shield, allowing the player to create items from TM Materials.
Items
When interacting with the Item Printer, the player has the option to run the machine either one time, five, or ten times at once.
The player must add in enough TM Materials to add up to 100% for each item made (so running it ten times at once requires 1,000% worth of materials), with each TM Material contributing a different amount based on its sell price in League Points.

Upgrades
After running a certain number of total jobs, the player is offered the ability to upgrade the Item Printer to make it more efficient, lowering both the the amount of TM Materials and BP needed to perform a job. Each upgrade is based on different tiers of Poké Balls, with the base tier being a Poké Ball, the first upgrade being a Great Ball, the second upgrade being an Ultra Ball, and the third upgrade being a Master Ball.
The first upgrade adds a 2× Item Bonus function, which sometimes rewards twice the items at no extra cost.
The second upgrade adds the Poké Ball Lotto function, which will occasionally trigger after a print job, allowing the player access to up to 10 print jobs that will exclusively print rare Poké Balls.
The third upgrade allows the Item Printer to produce multiples of the same item, as well as Stellar Tera Shards.
