Isis (Japanese: イシス Isis) is a Pokémon Breeder who attended the Pokémon Training Center, and a character of the day who appeared in Bibarel Gnaws Best!.
Isis was temporarily appointed as the foreman of a stone bridge construction project after the expert stonecutter who was in charge injured his back. However, progress was notoriously slow after her Bibarel refused to work due to the expert stonecutter's departure.
With three days left before the construction deadline and mounting pressures from the head engineer, Isis felt absolutely helpless. However, the expert stonecutter's return in Bibarel Gnaws Best! revealed the head engineer had deliberately cut corners in the planning and construction process, hence why Bibarel refused to work. After defeating the head engineer's Pokémon, Isis, Ash, his friends, and their Pokémon built the stone bridge on time and to the correct standard.

Isis trained Bibarel at the Pokémon Training Center to become a stonecutter. The expert stonecutter later took Bibarel under his wing, where she went on to become a master stonecutter.
After her mentor left because he had worn out his back, Bibarel refused to do any more work. Brock tried to encourage her to work by mixing up some food, but Bibarel still refused to work. Then, Ash and Brock sent out Chimchar, Turtwig, Buizel and Sudowoodo, and used their moves to cut the stone. Unfortunately, they weren't the right dimensions. Then, just as Bibarel started to get angry, Team Rocket appeared. They captured the worker's Machoke and Machamp, and then Bibarel. To Team Rocket's dismay, Bibarel used her strong front teeth to chew right through the cage bars, but after she was freed, she still refused to work. When the head engineer arrived and put his Rhydon to work, Bibarel attacked. She didn't want to let the engineer's Pokémon touch the stone quarry. Then, the expert stonecutter appeared, scaring off the engineer before Bibarel and the group got right to work, and finally finished the bridge on time. Bibarel's only known move is Hyper Fang. | ||
