The Fighting type is one of the nine TCG elemental types.

The Fighting type usually contains all Fighting , Rock, and Ground Pokémon found in the Game Boy games. For example, Golem, Machamp, and Dugtrio are all Fighting types in the TCG.

Battle properties

Generally Fighting Pokémon have a weakness to:

• Psychic (if the Pokémon was a Template:Type2 in the Game Boy games)
• Grass (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Template:Type2 in the Game Boy games)
• Water (if the Pokémon was a Ground- or Template:Type2 in the Game Boy games)

Generally Fighting Pokémon have a resistance to:

• Lightning (if the Pokémon was a Ground type in the Game Boy games)

These types are generally weak to Fighting Pokémon:

• Darkness
• Colorless (if the type of the resistant Pokémon was a Template:Type2 in the Game Boy games)

These types are generally resistant to Fighting Pokémon:

• Colorless (if the type of the resistant Pokémon was a Template:Type2 in the Game Boy game)
