In Japan, this card was released in the Tamamushi City Gym Theme Deck. It was released in English in the Gym Heroes expansion, having been previously reprinted in the Japanese Leaders' Stadium expansion.

Origin
Gym Leader Erika owns a Vileplume that knows Mega Drain in Pokémon Red and Blue. Mega Drain is a move in the Pokémon games that Vileplume can learn via TM21 in Generation I and by level-up from Generation III onward.
