Draco Meteor is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV that deals a large amount of damage but reduces the user's Special Attack power.
Notably, it can only be tutored to Dragon-type Pokémon. This means that Pokémon like Charizard and Gyarados, despite their dragonlike characteristics, cannot be taught the move. Similar to Blast Burn, Frenzy Plant, and Hydro Cannon, the Pokémon that the move is to be taught to, has to have a high happiness rating.
Learnset
Trivia
- Smeargle is one of only two non-Dragon-type Pokémon able to learn Draco Meteor, due to Sketch. The other is Arceus once the Draco Plate is removed after it learns the move. Coincidentally, they are both Template:Type2.
- Mew, though repeatedly said on the Pokédex to be able to learn any move, is not able to learn Draco Meteor because it can only be taught to Template:Type2 Pokémon.
