Soul (Japanese: ソウル Soul) is the female player character in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the counterpart to Gold in the same games. She is a young girl who lives with her mother in New Bark Town.
Currently, this is the only known information about her, and details of any and all changed plots in HeartGold and SoulSilver from the original Gold and Silver are nonexistent at the current time. Her name, likewise, is unknown, but assumed to follow the pattern that Leaf does in Generation III, being named after the prefix of the second version, while her male counterpart is named for the primary original version and her rival is named for the secondary original version.
