Rick (Japanese: クルシマ Kurushima) is the Club Master of the Science Club (Japanese: サイエンスクラブ Science Club). He plays using the Wonders of Science Deck (Japanese: かがくのちからだデッキ Power of Science Deck) and gives away the Science Medal to challengers who defeat him. In Pokémon Card GB 2, he uses the ダークサイエンスデッキ Dark Science Deck.
His club is a laboratory where he works on strange experiements.
In Pokémon Card GB
Rick is busy with experiments when the main player first tries to duel him. Rick will only accept challenges after all of his club members are defeated.
Defeating him will earn the main player a Science Medal and two Mystery Booster packs.

In the beginning of the game, Rick is kidnapped by Team Great Rocket. Later the player can free him at GR Grass Fort, and when freed, he gives the player an Hungry Snorlax card.
