Effect
Generation I
Thunder does damage and has a 9.8% chance of paralyzing the opponent.
Thunder can't paralyze an opponent that has a substitute or already has a major status ailment.
Generation II
Thunder has an accuracy of 100% when during the effects of the move Rain Dance and 50% if used during the effects of the move Sunny Day.
