Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came sealed with an official Pocket Monsters Trading Card Game red, green, or black play mat. The play mats were released through Pokémon Centers and a small number of toy shops in May 1997. It was later reprinted in Pokémon Web; however, this version was printed in the e-reader format. The original version is therefore much rarer than its Web reprint counterpart. The card was never released in English, aside from appearing in the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy.
Trivia
Origin
Headbutt and Amnesia are both moves in the Pokémon games that Slowpoke can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
