Hajime (Japanese: ハジメ Hajime) is a Pokémon ranger. He is the male playable character in Pokémon Ranger Batonnage.

Hajime is the male playable character in Pokémon Ranger Batonnage.
In the anime
Hajime makes his appearance in DP071 and DP072. Ash and friends help him on his mission of protecting Riolu. Hajime is a Rank 10 Ranger.
In the manga
Hajime will appear in the comic based on Pokémon Ranger Batonnage that will be posted on the Pokémon Japanese Website.
Trivia
- Hajime means "beginning," probably referring to his status as a beginner.
- In the anime Hajime is shown to have a tendency of capturing Pokémon that are the final evolved form of Ash's Pokémon. He captured a Floatzel, Staraptor and three Blastoise, which are the final evolved forms of Ash's Buizel, Staravia, and Squirtle. Though not the final evolved form but Hajime also caught a Donphan, Which Ash owns one too.
