Gems are the premium currency in Pokémon Masters. Gems are used to scout for sync pairs at the shop. It costs 300 gems (or 100 paid gems daily) to scout one sync pair, which is chosen randomly from a pool of sync pairs. They are also used to purchase egg research items.
Acquisition
Gems can be obtained in multiple ways:
- First time rewards - stages which only consist of dialogue (such as certain main story stages or sync pair stories) give 10 gems. Battles usually award the player with 30 gems the first time it is cleared, although certain event battles may provide more.
- Mission bingo - completing the weekly mission bingo gives 300 gems. Event mission bingos can also provide gem rewards.
- Special log-in bonuses and event missions
- Purchase with real money at the shop
