Dia
(Japanese: ディア Dia) is a recurring character who first appeared in SM100.
Dia encountered Ash and Pikachu when they found themselves transported from Melemele Island by Tapu Koko. Ash and Pikachu found themselves under attack by a Guzzlord but Dia saved them using his Zeraora. He then explained to Ash what had happened to his world and had a battle against Ash which Dia was able to win. Dia eventually took Ash to some ruins which Ash recognized as being the Pokémon School.
He will appear again in SM101.

| Zeraora is Dia's only known Pokémon. Zeraora was first used to save Ash and Pikachu from Guzzlord before battling against Pikachu which Zeraora won.
Zeraora's known moves are Close Combat, Plasma Fists, Quick Attack, and Slash. | ||

Trivia
- Dia bears a striking resemblance to Tobias, a Trainer Ash battled in the Diamond & Pearl series. Much like Dia, Tobias owned at least one Mythical Pokémon.
