Release information
This disk was awarded as a prize at the Full-Force Battle ~Solgaleo & Lunala Challenge!~ event held at the 45th Next Generation World Hobby Fair during winter 2017. The World Hobby Fair took place at the Nagoya Dome, Nagoya on January 22, 2017; at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on January 28 and 29, 2017; at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Osaka on February 5, 2017; and at the Fukuoka Yahuoku! Japan Dome, Fukuoka on February 12, 2017.
Entrants were challenged to defeat Battle Leader Sodan and his team of 2 Pokémon. Successful entrants could select either this disk or a Solgaleo disk following the battle. Entrants who were not successful were awarded either a Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio disk at random. The first 300 registered Ga-Olé Members at each event were also awarded a Ga-Olé Pass sticker featuring Mewtwo. The illustration features the World Hobby Fair logo and "WINNER".
Another Full-Force Battle ~Solgaleo & Lunala Challenge!~ event featuring the same opponent was held at The 3rd Planet Pivot Fukushima arcade on March 12, 2017, and was limited to 150 people. Those who successfully defeated both Solgaleo and Lunala were awarded a "WINNER" version of either this disk or the Lunala disk at random. Entrants who were not successful were awarded a non-winner version of either this disk or the Lunala disk at random. These versions lack the World Hobby Fair logo on the illustration.
More Full-Force Battle ~Solgaleo & Lunala Challenge!~ events were held as part of the Coro Tour 2017, held at a number of Aeon Mall venues across Japan between July 17 and September 3, 2017. The format was the same as the winter 2017 World Hobby Fair events: entrants who successfully defeated both Solgaleo and Lunala could choose to dispense a "WINNER" version of either this disk or the Solgaleo disk. Entrants who were not successful were awarded either a Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio disk at random.
