Ever Grande City (Japanese: サイユウシティ Saiyū City) is located on an island in eastern Hoenn. The island's motto is "The Paradise of Flowers, the Sea, and Pokémon". The southern side of the island is blanketed in flowers.

In the Games

Pokémon trainers come here to battle the Elite Four of Hoenn after earning eight Gym Badges.

With its steep cliffs, it is impossible to reach any buildings without having a Pokémon able to scale the high waterfall on the southern end of the city. High above the ocean, its slopes are lush with grass and flowers. The island is divided into two parts by Victory Road which runs through a large mountain.

Only the toughest trainers will reach the northern end of Ever Grande City and thus the Pokémon League and Elite Four.

There are two Pokémon Centers on the island, in the south and in the north. Either can be reached by using Fly.

Southwest of Ever Grande City is Route 128.

In the games, it is unsure how many residents it has, as most people are presumably just trainers trying to beat the Elite Four.

In the anime

Ash Ketchum arrives in Ever Grande City in the episode, Like a Meowth to a Flame and leaves in The Scheme Team. While there, he competes in the Ever Grande Conference and battles his Hoenn rivals, Morrison and Tyson.
