Trivia

• Meowth claims to have smelled food with his nose even though he denied having a nose in Pokémon Scent-sation! (dub only).
• When Misty lets her Pokémon out, Staryu and Goldeen are omitted; only Psyduck and Poliwag appear.

Errors

• Ash, in the battle with Team Rocket, says "Use your Razor Leaf attack together!" He was probably directing the command to Bulbasaur and Chikorita, but his Pokémon don't appear to follow the order; Chikorita uses Razor leaf, but Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip and Cyndaquil uses Flamethrower.

Dub edits

• Yosaku is Sylvester's dad in the dub, while he is actually Sylvester's master in the original.
