Toru Sakurai (Japanese: 櫻井トオル Toru Sakurai) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Sakurai was born on November 10, 1987 in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He joined the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon and voiced a number of characters during that time, with his most important role being Gladion's Silvally. He also replaced Takaaki Uchino as recurring Team Skull Grunt Tupp, starting in SM024. Sakurai is currently affiliated with Ken Production.
