Release information

This card was included in the Base Set, first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection expansions, as well as the Japanese Neo Introduction Set. It was later reclassified as a Supporter card with new artwork by the same artist as one of the P Promotional cards, and was available as an insert with Volume 13 of Pokémon Card Trainers magazine, released in September 2001. This print was never released in English; however, it was reprinted again with the Supporter classification in the HeartGold & SoulSilver with new artwork by the same artist. This print was subsequently available in the Gyarados Half Deck of the English HS Trainer Kit, as well as the Japanese Steelix and Tyranitar Constructed Standard Decks.

Trivia

  • The Japanese P Promotional print has the card ID Z-05, a feature of the majority of cards from the e-Card Era. This print lacks any Dot Code strips, instead featuring the Pokémon Web logo.
  • This card has exactly the same effect as Mom's Kindness. This particularity allows for 8 cards of the same effect to be in a deck.
