Takaya (Japanese: タカヤ 'Takaya) is a character in How I Became a Pokémon Card. He lives in a small village which holds a contest to determine which villager shall be awarded the title of "Air Master"; Takaya competes with his Fearow against the story's hero, Tsubasa.

Fearow is Takaya's only known Pokémon. He has used it in battle against Tsubasa to try to earn the title of Air Master.
