This is a list of all items that appear in the coding of Pokémon games but are not obtainable by any legitimate means in that game or set of games.

This does not include key items which are carried over between successive game releases, such as items in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire that remain in the coding of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Instead, it includes items that are not available at all in any game within a particular generation.

In Generation I

Note: The buy price for this item is half the price of coins in the Game Corner ($20 per coin). It cannot be used in the slot machines, exchanged for prizes, or put into a Coin Case. Curiously, this item is listed in the manual of Red and Blue as a "miscellaneous item". It is the only item that fits into this category.[1]
