Release information

The holographic version found in the Torchic Constructed Starter Deck was printed in English as one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos and awarded through various European POP tournaments in July 2004. It was reprinted as another Nintendo Black Star Promo with different artwork by Atsuko Nishida and was awarded through the Pokémon League in September 2003. The Japanese version was released as part of a McDonald's campaign in January 2003.
