I can't update the article, but I'd like to point out that Axew's name may be based on the words "axe" and "hew," rather than "chew." This logic is based on its evolution's unconfirmed names "Fraxure" and "Haxorus," which use the words "fracture" and "hack" (similar to "hew") as well as the fact that "hew" makes a whole lot more sense than "chew" in an axe-related vein. :True. And keeping this and other recently named Pokémon pages protected isn't necessary anymore. And '''April 13?!? Possible Psuedo-legendary?

Judging from most other psuedo-legendaries who have similiar starter forms campared to Kibago, like Dratini, for example, one could say this pokemon may be Generation V's new Psuedo -Legendary. --Proctor 05:17, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Please take speculation like that to the forums. Until we get the dex numbers we won't know, and so it is just speculation. Werdnae (talk) 05:23, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Dex numbers aren't necessarily an indicator of a psuedo-legendary; Gible and its evolution family come relatively early in the Pokedex. T a r o m o n 12:47, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
True. Which means we won't know until after we learn its final evolution's stats and types. Which means it definitely isn't going on the page for a while, and all discussion as to Kibago's possible pseudo-legendary status should be taken to the forums. Werdnae (talk) 20:19, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Sprite

I've gotten the sprite from it's battle screenshot, so you can update it. Link to the image. There (sorry, don't know how to attach any other way) Megadog 01:11, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, they've both been uploaded. Jello 01:24, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Kibago is owned by Iris

In the trailer for Best wishes Iris was seen with a Kibago on her team

shouldn't Iris' Kibago be protected now? - unsigned comment from Ataro (talkcontribs)

On her team? In her hair. TTEchidna 20:06, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

Same diff man... (Ataro 20:22, 1 August 2010 (UTC))

The beta art featuring the main cast for the anime had Kibago in it standing next to Iris. Meaning it will most likely be Iris' pokemon. The fact that it resides in her hair has no bering on wether it is her pokemon or not, after all Pikachu is almost never seen in it's pokeball. EpicShadow 22:29, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

This has now been confirmed to be true. The information should be added to the page. EpicShadow 21:02, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

We've known about this for weeks -____- Ataro 21:05, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Then Why hasn't it been added? EpicShadow 20:07, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

you're joking right? it IS in the article... Ataro 21:16, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Anime Picture

Can someone put this picture in the anime section: BW002.png --KayKay|Chat to me! 06:37, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

Anyone?--KayKay|Chat to me! 05:22, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Ononokusu

On Serebii it says its the second stage of Kibago - unsigned comment from Agumonex (talkcontribs)

Middle evolution is called Onondo according to Serebii. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 21:59, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

possible trivia?

Should we put in the trivia that it's the first dragon type Pokemon own by a main traveling companion of Ash? In A Manica 17:00, 16 December 2010 (UTC)

English Name

I hear it's now Axew according to IGN.com http://ds.ign.com/articles/114/1143911p1.html Shiramu Kuromu 22:17, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

We're not moving unless there is definite confirmation from a reliable source. --P S Yライダー 22:18, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
They have an IN-GAME SCREENSHOT. That's proof enough. Shiramu Kuromu 22:25, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
IGN is the next best thing to confirmation apart from Nintendo or the Official website, and it wasn't posted on the forums, but an actual blog post on IGN. But I suppose it's up to Mods/whoever. --samm -- 22:25, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
I have screenshots too. :3 Doesn't mean anything though. Screenshots are easily faked. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:28, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
And IGN is a website totally known for faking screenshots, too. Oh, wait, no. --HeroicJay 22:29, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
No arguing. It will be moved soon, most likely. No need to get nasty with each other. Just be patient. Jeez... --ケンジガール 22:32, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
