Young Yuri

(Japanese: ユリ Yuri) is the character of the day in DP095. She is voiced by Yumi Tōma in Japanese.

It was revealed that she was Johanna's old rival. She first appeared as a child in a flashback, battling Johanna in a Contest, which she won.

She had gotten four ribbons before she decided to become a Pokémon Stylist.

Yuri met Dawn right before the Celestic Town Contest began. She participated in the Contest, but eventually losing out to Dawn. In one of her flashbacks, she was seen watching a Contest which Dawn was participating in.

After the contest, Yuri let Dawn pick out an outfit from her shop free of charge.

• It is likely, if not confirmed, that Yuri's Delcatty is a male because in its battle with Dawn's Ambipom, its Cute Charm ability went into effect on Ambipom, who is female.
