J. Michael Tatum

J. Michael Tatum is an English voice actor for the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Tatum was born as John Michael Tatum on May 15, 1976, in McKinney, Texas. He had a stutter as a child, which prompted his speech coach to get him involved in theatre. His performances allowed him to overcome his stutter, inspiring him to become an actor. He became a voice actor with Funimation after being discovered by one of the studio's ADR directors. Tatum became involved with the Pokémon anime during the Diamond & Pearl series, with his major roles being Tobias and Damon. He currently co-hosts a podcast called That Anime Show.
