Yuichi Ueda (Japanese: 植田祐一 Ueda Yūichi) is a game developer currently employed at ILCA. He is best known as one of the game directors for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, alongside Junichi Masuda. Ueda had previously worked for game companies such as Sunsoft, Konami, Capcom and Game Republic prior to his employment with ILCA, serving as a director on projects like Trip World and Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors.[1] His earlier work often credited him under the psuedonyms "Zap" or "Zap Yuichi".
