Firstly, the ban on adding trivia has been removed. However! Please think twice before you add trivia. Make sure that this edit contributes to the article as a whole and is not just a coincidence or irrelevant bullet point.
September 20th starts [[Bulbapedia:Cross-Wiki Week|Cross-Wiki Week]]! What is '''Cross-Wiki Week'''? It's an annual event hosted by the [[Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance]] to encourage collaboration across all of our NIWA wiki partners! This 10-day event (spanning two weekends) aims for editors to contribute to franchises outside of their normal activity. Secondly, we have amended our {{bp|userspace policy}} to permit at most three userspace edits per day (cue excited screams). There is a slight catch though - in order to continue the large volume of constructive edits Bulbapedia has amassed over the past few months, we ask that you make at least one more edit to the mainspace than your userspace every day. For example, if you want to make three userspace edits, you have to make at least four mainspace edits as well.
We encourage everyone to give it a try, even if it's only a few edits!


There will be a few more changes around Bulbapedia in the near future — but we can't say too much at the moment. Watch this space!

September 20th starts Cross-Wiki Week! What is Cross-Wiki Week? It's an annual event hosted by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance to encourage collaboration across all of our NIWA wiki partners! This 10-day event (spanning two weekends) aims for editors to contribute to franchises outside of their normal activity. For full details, visit the official event page here.

We encourage everyone to give it a try, even if it's only a few edits!

For participating editors:

  • When trying out a new wiki, be sure to check their policies and guidelines on how to help.
  • Use the hashtag #cww in your edit summaries for a chance to win a Nintendo eShop card! Two winners will be drawn.

For those new to Bulbapedia, please check out the Cross-Wiki Week landing page, the Editor's Hub, and the Bulletin Board for ways to help out. We look forward to seeing the expertise you bring to our Pokémon encyclopedia.
