(Japanese: アルセウス光臨 Pokémon Card Game DPt4: Advent of Arceus) is the name given to the fourth expansion of cards from the Japanese series of cards, Pokémon Card Game DPt.

Information

Advent of Arceus is the fourth expansion in the Pokémon Card Game DPt series and is based on the twelfth movie, Arceus: To a Conquering Spacetime.

The Pokémon featured in the set, unlike in the three previous sets, are based on the featured Pokémon from the twelfth movie, specifically Arceus instead of a certain Trainer. This set marks the TCG debut of the final Generation IV Pokémon, Arceus. A new rule was introduced saying that players can have as many Arceus cards in their decks as they want.

Prerelease information

• Toys "R" Us has confirmed seven more cards: Beedrill , Zapdos , Porygon-Z , Gengar LV.X, and three shiny Pokémon: Ponyta, Shinx, and Bagon.
• The booster pack artwork reveals that Bronzong, Mothim, Cherrim, Buneary, Luxio and Croagunk will appear.
• The latest commercial has confirmed Tangela, Ponyta, Rapidash, Gulpin, Swalot, Bronzor, Bronzong, Wingull, Treecko, Grovyle, Gastly, Haunter, Electrike, and Manectric.
• The June 28th airing of Pokémon Sunday revealed the Ultimate Zone's appearance in the main expansion.
• TOHO Auctions revealed all of the card images for Advent of Arceus.
