(Insane proposal based on failed comparative logic. If we don't even believe confirmed epi titles (recalling Barry), why would we believe some failed comparative logic? TTE just felt bad. No big whoop.)
(It's proposed, not "going to happen". We're just setting up for it so people can give talk page opinion.)

Soul (Japanese: ソウル Soul) is the female player character in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the counterpart to Gold in the same games. She is a young girl who lives with her mother in New Bark Town.

Soul speaking with Gold

Currently, this is the only known information about her, and details of any and all changed plots in HeartGold and SoulSilver from the original Gold and Silver are nonexistent at the current time. Her name, likewise, is unknown, but assumed to follow the pattern that Leaf does in FireRed and LeafGreen, as Leaf is named after the prefix of the second version, while her male counterpart is named for the primary original version and her rival is named for the secondary original version.

Due to her similar hair and the revelation that HeartGold and SoulSilver will incorporate Crystal elements, it is believed by many fans that she is to Kris what Leaf is to Blue: a vastly redesigned version of her. As Kris's Special counterpart Crystal likewise had brown hair initially (though it was changed to blue to match her counterparts of Kris and Marina), and currently has brown hair again. Given this ambiguity, as well as a lack of information on HeartGold and SoulSilver currently, this article will remain until a potential confirmation of Soul's identity.

Soul can be seen talking with Gold in New Bark Town at the start off the game. In this particular scene, she is seen with a Marill. It is still unknown if she will always have Marill or if the Pokémon will change if another starter Pokémon is selected.
