Similarities

Am I the only one who doesn't see how the similarities are relevant? They're not hints, they're just similarities. Brock and Ash are both male, but that doesn't count as a Bouldershipping hint. --Pie ~ 00:14, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

It's interesting trivia but it doesn't say anything about the actual ship. --FabuVinny T-C-S 00:55, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Sounds valid, I guess you can put it up. Pkmn veteran 05:17, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Hints

*sigh* Are we allowed to show the other side because it doesn't take much to explain all those hints away. At least the list doesn't count the high-5s... --FabuVinny T-C-S 00:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

The fact is this is a shipping page, and in every shipping page, it the merits of the hints can be argued, so it would be rather pointless to add a rebuttal. Lionheart08 04:11, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Minor Vandalism?

Since when was adding a line to a page "minor vandalism"? You may not have noticed, ShiningPikablu, but Ash's Pokemon are still using that Spin Dodge, as recently as this weeks episode.- unsigned comment from Cassius335 (talkcontribs)

I was referring to your changing linking and templating around as minor vandalism, not your comment on the dodge tactic. When you made your addition, you also changed Kenny (coordinator) (an actual page) to Kenny (Coordinator) (a redirect), you removed the link to the actual Kenny's Prinplup article and put a link to the article on the Prinplup species instead, removed the Project Shipping notice, and removed a link to the matching page on Pokémon Wiki, the Japanese-language wiki in Encyclopaediae Pokémonis.
I've gone ahead and restored your comment. But be warned, I've got my eye out on you. Make another vandalism, minor or not, and a sysop will be alerted.
Oh, and one more thing--it's improper to capitalize the P in my username, such as how you don't refer to stuff as FlameThrower, BubbleBeam, PickUp, and BlackGlasses. --Shiningpikablu252 02:36, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
*blinks, looks at the edit history* Ok, What the hell happened there? Because all I did was add a sentence. The rest of that is new to me. Cassius335 11:58, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
I bet I'm really late weighing in on this issue, but ShiningPikaBlu252 stated that he doesnt refer to stuff as "BubbleBeam" but it is in fact BubbleBeam. So, being trumped by his own example, he should be referred to as ShiningPikeBlu252 <3 PkmnTrainerJohn 07:49, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Spin-dodge

Note: still spin-dodging, even as of DP066! TTEchidnaFire echyGSDS! 06:57, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

BubbleGlasses

In all fairness, it is BubbleBeam and they are BlackGlasses. I haven't gotten around to change all the links to Bubblebeam yet, but it's on my list. --Martonimos((Talk)) 23:13, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Trivia Mistake?

  • They both released the second Pokémon they caught: Ash released Pidgeot and Dawn released Pachirisu. However, Dawn recaptured Pachirisu and Ash said he would come back for Pidgeot (though he has yet to do so).

... Second? Pidgeot and Pachirisu were their third Pokemon. Ash's second was his Caterpie, which he did release, but Dawn's second was her Buneary, and Dawn still owns it...~m190049 22:19, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Starters NOT included!--KukiTalk 22:20, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Uhm, waist?

Acoording to "Similarities", Ash is holding Dawn's waist? Well, uh, no. He doesn't. If you get, first of all, get a bigger pic of it, and you'll see; he does NOT hold her waist. >_> It maybe looks like that, but the truth is that his hand is BEHIND Dawn, ok? And look here, btw: 12259167313.jpg

Actually, it's true. It's says ONE SCENE. In this picture,

behind the green star, under the red bow, Ash is holding her waist. パチリスの恋人12 20:05, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

- It's pretty obvious that he's clenching his fist in the commercial, that's why I put that it can be depicted in that single shot.
--Pkmn veteran 04:26, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
No matter what, they're still really close to each other. Anyone got a higher-res shot? TTEchidna 06:14, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
well can we get a video link? Ultamatecharizard 18:49, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Does Ash's glove have yellow knuckles? if anything, those are knuckles.--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
No, Ash's glove's don't have knuckles. They're like biking gloves. パチリスの恋人12 19:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Nevermind, there was something else yellow there. I can clearly see his hands. --DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
That's Pikachu's ear. パチリスの恋人12 22:18, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Why is pikachu's ear in a bow tied around Dawns waist? dont answer that--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
Yes, I'm a bit late, but I've just now watched the video, and Ash's fist is clearly clenched behind Dawn, not on her waist. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 22:28, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

This is ridiculous

The mailbag said that Ash and Dawn will never be more than friends. Sorry.--RexRacer -talk 22:40, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Where was this, and, more importantly, so what? The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 22:43, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, a lot of ships we have are never going to happen. So why should this be different? Looks like someone's a PokéShipper. --ケンジガール 22:47, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
This is why I hate shipping...--RexRacer -talk 22:48, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
More importantly, does this have anything to do with the article? The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 22:50, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Proposal to change hint format

I'd like to make a proposal to change the format of the hints to a style similar to what is used in the PokeShipping and AdvanceShipping. This would help in making the hints more spaced and easier on the eyes and would eliminate the need to begin with "In (Insert Episode), hint...". This process can also be used to check and review the hints and allow the removal of any hint that can be considered baseless, biased, etc. and allow for the addition of any missed/over sought hints. However, executing this proposal can mean that some reorganization has to be done. If this proposal is undertaken, the only thing I'm pondering is how to execute it without causing a massive edit war. Pkmn veteran 04:39, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Its true. The page really needs reorganizing. The opinionated hints can be removed later. Jmath 10:24, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
