Forecast (Japanese: てんきや Weather Moods) is an ability introduced in Generation III that changes type with the weather. Only one Pokémon has this ability.
The type of a Pokémon with this ability will change as follows:
- It will become a Template:Type2 if Sunny Day is in effect.
- It will become a Template:Type2 if Hail or Diamond dust is in effect.
- It will become a Template:Type2 if Rain Dance is in effect.
- It will revert to its natural type if Sandstorm or Shadow Sky is in effect, the weather returns to normal, or a Pokémon with Cloud Nine or Air Lock comes onto the field.
