Clamperl (Japanese: パールル Pearlulu; German: Perlu; French: Coquiperl) is a Water-type Pokémon.

- A Clamperl slams its shell closed on prey to prevent escape. The pearl it creates upon evolution is said to be infused with a mysterious energy.
Name origin
Clamperl's name is a combination of clamp or clam and pearl. Its Japanese name is based on the English word pearl.
Clampearl is based on an oyster.
