Route 226 is a water route on the northeastern island of Sinnoh that links Survival Area with Route 228 and Route 227, leading to the Stark Mountain. There is only one interesting place to visit on this route: the house on the island, inhabited by a multilingual traveling Meister (German for "master"). Inside Meister's house the player may trade a Finneon for a German Magikarp. This apparently unfair trade will unlock the multilingual Pokédex entries option. After trading a particular Pokémon from another country, the player will be able to see its Pokédex entry in the language of the country it has arrived. However, both Pokémon and language lists are limited.
