I don't see any good reason to use shorthand (i.e. "GBC" instead of "Game Boy Color") in this page's title. "Game Boy Color" is not an excessively long dabtag. This is not like the Nintendo DS where the system's official name includes an initialism. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 14:58, 19 November 2023 (UTC) |

Rename page?
In light of the Pokemon Picross 3DS game being released next month, should we move this page to something to the tune of "Pokémon Picross (1999)" or "Pokémon Picross (unreleased)"? Or should we feature both games on the same page and treat the game like it was in development hell for 17 years? 梅子❀✿ 01:28, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- I think that it should either go to "Pokémon Picross (unreleased)", similar to unaired episodes, or "Pokémon Picross (Game Boy)". The new one could take over "Pokémon Picross", or go to "Pokémon Picross (3DS)", while this page becomes a disambiguation. If the former is done, we should probably add a "Pokémon Picross (disambiguation)". Bigpboy (talk) 02:43, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- I agree that a page move is necessary, but we should get a replacement page ready for the new game before we move it. Once the replacement is ready, someone with moving privileges can handle moving both pages at once. It also serves to keep it in userspace until it's sufficiently ready for mainspace. Additionally, since the other title is relatively unknown, I think the new title should take over this actual page, and a disambituation link appear at the top of the page; there's no need to disambiguate it otherwise.
- If a new page is already started in userspace, I'll join in setting it up. CycloneGU (talk) 03:59, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- Abcboy has already prepared a page (but has not put it on Bulbapedia yet). I think we should move the page to "Pokémon Picross (Game Boy Color)", and make this page the 3DS game. --SnorlaxMonster 04:18, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, whoops. I just created one myself at User:CycloneGU/Pokémon Picross. We can merge elements of them, though, as only one is needed. CycloneGU (talk) 04:44, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Higher-Res Scan
I found some better resolution scans of the magazine scans. I, however, cannot upload it to the archives. So if someone could, we'd all appreciate it. Here, Here, and Here --Mefredbob (talk) 03:27, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
