(Japanese: Kairi) is a character of the day who appeared in JN063. He is a friend of Professor Cerise's assist Chrysa.
Kairi had previously entered his Vaporeon in The Pokémon Marine Obstacle Course, where it won. He met up with Ash, Goh, and Chloe when they arrived in Lilycove City. Kairi showed them around the course and watched the next day as they competed with their Dracovish, Dewgong and Eevee.
When Chloe became trapped in a rock with Eevee and Dewgong having been attacked by a Huntail, Kairi came to its aid with Vaporeon and Huntail was soon defeated. Afterwards, Kairi gave Chloe a Water Stone so that she could evolve Eevee. Eevee didn't want to evolve at that moment but Chloe kept the Water Stone for future use.
