In Japan, this card was available as an insert with the August 2000 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on July 15, 2000.
Trivia
- The card text on the top right of the card border reads: "Theater version Pocket Monsters 2000 "Lord of the Unknown Tower" special jumbo card".
- The card text on the bottom of the card border features the CoroCoro logo and reads: "Monthly CoroCoro Comics: August issue supplement". The CoroCoro dragon mascot is also in place of an expansion symbol.
- This card was released as a Jumbo card and was therefore not legal to use in tournaments or official events.
Origin
This card is based on the illusionary Entei from Spell of the Unown: Entei. Fire Spin is a move in the Pokémon games that Entei can learn. This card's Pokédex entry is from Pokémon Silver.
